In the first half of 2026, industrial production in Belarus decreased by 0.7% year-on-year to BYN 107.2 billion, after a 1.4% decline recorded in January–May. The overall contraction was mainly driven by a 2.1% drop in manufacturing output, which fell to BYN 94.0 billion. In contrast, several sectors expanded: mining and quarrying grew by 2.6%, the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and air conditioning increased by 7.9%, and water supply, waste collection, treatment and disposal, and pollution remediation activities rose by 1.4%.

Regionally, industrial output declined in Mogilev (-4.5%), Grodno (-4.0%), Minsk City (-3.9%), and Vitebsk (-0.8%). Meanwhile, Brest (5.5%), the Minsk Region (2.4%), and Gomel (0.5%) registered growth.
